I was waiting for you to come meet me at the horizon
holding a warm cup of coffee in my hand,
gazing at the hills,
where the sun meets the clouds,
the fresh air blows away my hair.
I see you stumbling your way through the woods,
and wonder what have I done to deserve you in my life,
a life which was so miserable before you came,
you made me feel free and alive,
a way i’ve never felt before my entire life.
You barely reach the top,and trip down on the grass
and I give a silly little laugh.
You look at me wih those brown eyes of yours,
and whisper,”fuck,you’re so beautiful,
I innocently smile and put my hair behind my ears
pretending i didn’t hear you saying anything.
Hand in hand we made it to the top,
and as the time passed,
We watched the mesmerizing sunset,
turn into shining stars,
until it was morning again and we fell in love.
